Virginia Behavioral Health Programs
Intensive In-Home (IIH)
Short-term, intensive therapeutic interventions delivered in the home environment for youth ages 5-20. Services include individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to prevent out-of-home placement.
Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS)
Long-term support teaching individuals functional skills and appropriate behavior related to health, safety, and activities of daily living. Available for adults with serious mental illness.
Crisis Stabilization
Short-term, intensive mental health services provided in a community-based setting to avoid psychiatric hospitalization. Available 24/7 with rapid response capability.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Structured group therapy for individuals transitioning from higher levels of care or needing more support than traditional outpatient therapy. Focus on relapse prevention and coping skills.
Substance Abuse IOP (SAIOP)
Comprehensive substance abuse treatment including individual and group counseling, family counseling, and relapse prevention planning for individuals with substance use disorders.
